New to Wine? Amazing, let's go!

This project is to make wine tasting approachable. To Everyone. I grew up in the Willamette Valley, where growing vines, crushing grapes, and tasting wine basically runs through our veins.

Named, "The Next Napa," by TIME Magazine, the Willamette Valley has become a huge draw for visitors, as well as locals. Don't get me wrong- the tourism and newly rooted residents add excitement for all of us in the Wine Industry. A huge plus- their curiosity is already established.

The long-timer folks who drive past historical and award winning vineyards every single day... THOSE are the people who deserve the chance to experience their cultural roots. Take some time to enjoy the fruition of local laborers & break some break with your neighbors. You never know who you might run into around the Willamette Valley... my best advice, don't be shy.

#CHEERS!

To making wine tasting approachable... (what does that even mean?)

The only way to begin a hobby is to start. Good news- you don't have to love wine, but as you get to taste new types of wine and with different food (newsflash: it doesn't have to be fancy)... you'll learn what you gravitate toward. Also, allow me to digress- this isn't about loving wine or drinking all the time. This is about how wine and food is apart of your culture, especially in the Willamette Valley. Learn about how you can incorporate wine creatively into your lifestyle with friends, family, food, and fun is the key balancing act.

Follow me on IG @willamettevalleywine and see the silliness that can be. Wine isn't intimidating if you don't let it be.
